I am a Certified Technical Specialist with Infocomm.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started in electronics in the US Army repairing systems on attack helicopters. I used the tuition funds provided by the G.I. Bill to achieve a degree in Applied Sciences studying Electronic Engineering Technology. I worked on the research and development team at Qualcomm in 1992 developing the first generation CDMA cell phones and as a robotic programmer at an electronic manufacturing facility handling Lockheed Martin Defense contracts. I have played and recorded music with the original singer of Iron Butterfly. I studied and worked in component level electronics for a long time and wanted to learn about the complete systems I felt I had been taking for granted.
