FAQs
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I'm asked often when I knew I would be a designer, and the answer is simple and sincere: "Always." I was drawing floor plans for my bedroom by age five and fell in love with blueprints after seeing my first one for the redesign of our church hall as a child. I always knew this is what I would do. It's who I am...design is in my DNA!
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I do everything from simple color suggestions and furniture placement, to full house design.
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
There's a difference between decorating and designing. Designing versus decorating is like the difference between couture and off-the-rack. A well-designed room is professional and tailored. It has a certain je-ne-sais-quoi. That special something that you can't quite define but you know is there. I am not a decorator. I am a Designer.
