- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am constantly in training. I put myself through coaching for 3 years before I coached any clients. This was the single greatest investment I ever made.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
Almost 3 decades ago I was a homeless drug addict. I have been clean and free for more than 28 years and have helped thousands to achieve freedom from addiction. As a motivational speaker it was there I got the impact of my gift to change lives. Next thing I knew is I was writing books, speaking to youth, adults and parents on issues of addiction, self-esteem, dreams and such.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
As them what their process is and what will the sessions entail. If there is a rigid agenda or program before they even get to know you that may not be where you want to be.
