Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: During my 18 years of experience, I have honed the skills necessary to succeed as a graphic designer. I have extensive experience with print advertising including newspaper and magazine ads, brochures, direct mail, flyers, point of sale material including posters, signs, and displays, sales and marketing materials, newsletters, and even newspaper layout. My career in advertising has ranged from being a client, writing, designing and sending ads to the newspaper and outside printers to being a multimedia designer building print and web advertising at the Arizona Republic. Since becoming a freelance designer, I have had the opportunity to expand my design knowledge and design more for the web including website design in Photoshop, static and animated online banners and other images for websites including slides, buttons, and headers. While my background has afforded me many tangible qualities that make me an excellent graphic designer, I also have many intangible qualities that don’t come solely from experience. Qualities such as resourcefulness, insight, adaptability, and common sense are just a few; integrity, accountability, and a strong, honest work ethic make me a cut above the rest!

FAQs

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

There is something to the phrase "you get what you pay for". It is possible to get affordable, quality graphic design work done. I pride myself on offering reasonable pricing for high quality graphic design. Your logo, branding, advertising and marketing materials, and your website are extremely important to the success of your business. Don't skimp on quality to save money. Find a graphic designer who puts as much thought and care into the quality and success of your graphic design materials as you put into your own business.

  • What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

Being a good Graphic Designer takes more than having a computer and drawing software. There are a lot of people out there calling themselves designers who have no real world experience and don't know the proper way to create files. There are industry standards as far as software, resolution, color, etc. for example: print and web are not the same resolution or color - what might be good for a website can't be used in print. I would estimate that 75% of the designers I see online bidding on work don't know the ins and outs of the design industry.
