- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have an extensive past with personal injuries. Broken bones, surgeries and stitches to say the least! Naturally, this put me in front of numerous different types of medical professionals. I was particularly impressed with my Physical Therapist. Physical therapy was a gateway to me receiving my own massage therapy from a friend who also taught me a few tricks of the trade. I decided then that I wanted to help heal as I had been helped before. My love of anatomy and instinctive nature pushed me to enroll in the Arizona School of Massage therapy and graduate with flying colors in order to help. This is why I love my job!!
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
There's no denying the power of bodywork. Regardless of the adjectives we assign to it (pampering, rejuvenating, therapeutic) or the reasons we seek it out (a luxurious treat, stress relief, pain management), massage therapy can be a powerful ally in your healthcare regimen.
