Q. Do you have a favorite story from your work?

A. During the summer, Uhaul trucks can sometimes break down due to Arizona's extreme climate conditions. It's very unfortunate to see this happen, yet there have been many times that we've "stopped the clock" and waited it out with the customer. There was a particular time when we actually waited 3 hours before "starting the clock" again. We re-assured the customer that we were not charging them any extra for the time that it took Uhaul to bring another truck. The truck was replaced, so the belongings had to be switched to another truck. At the end of this long day, we were relieved when we were able to help alleviate a crisis!

Q. What do you wish customers knew about you or your profession?

A. Return customers are a large percentage of our business. Refer your friends, and we will be sure that they receive $25 off their order!

Q. How did you decide to get in your line of work?

A. Ever have a seat in a coffee shop? It is apparent that the world is on the go. Simply Moves is here to help you get there. I want everyone to have access to help when they need it.

Q. Tell us about a recent job you did that you are particularly proud of.

A. We helped a disabled individual temporarily place some of her belongings and furniture into storage a couple months ago. This past month, we just helped that same, commendable woman relocate to her new home! It is heart-warming to see the generosity behind the appreciation that glows upon the faces of the ones we're able to help!

Q. What are the latest developments in your field? Are there any exciting things coming in the next few years or decade that will change your line of business?

A. Moving is becoming more personal and customer-oriented. Friendly service is embraced by all Simply Moves.

Q. Describe your most recent project, what it involved, how much it cost, and how long it took.

A. We successfully loaded a 2400 sq. ft. home into 26-foot rental truck in under 3 hours. The walking distance was over 20 feet, and there was a flight of stairs to deal with. With 15 minutes to spare, we finished the job leaving the customer with no extra fees to pay and a grand total that was under $150!
