FAQs
- What types of customers have you worked with?
As a workshop instructor I provide, within the group setting (6-12 students average), personalized instruction on both watercolor and oil with other media, such acrylic underpinning, in support. Instruction is tailored for the group but is focused on your needs and questions, too, and classes are for all levels of artistic ability and experience, whether you're a gallery artist or not. Subject matter generally is landscapes and still life but other subjects are welcome. Instruction in basics (color wheel, drawing, composition, shape & value, for e.g.), of course, but innovative options are regularly added to the mix: watercolor in reverse, negative painting, veriegated wash, wet into wet and wet onto dry, splatter, layering, abstract to realism, tight or loose, wet & wild, spontaneity and authority, painting vibrant outdoor scenes.
