I was in a serious motor vehicle accident approximately four years ago. The most serious injury was to my neck which resulted in chronic pain. There were days when I cam home and cried all night. The other person's insurance company was not interested in pay my medical bills or reasonable compensation for my pain and suffering. My attorney, Andrew Alex, prepared my case, was easy to reach by telephone or meetings. Importantly, he never encouraged me to accept a settlement for less than my comfort level. At the end of the day, we went to trial, where the jury awarded substantially more money than the insurance company offered. Andrew is a very good trial lawyer and genuinely cared about me as a person.

Question and answer

Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?

A. I wish I knew that delays worked against me. That delays are a tactic used by insurance companies and other companies involved to frustrate the claim. Delays result in evidence being lost, witnesses disappear or can't remember... and all of these things result in less compensation for me.

Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?

A. Honesty and authenticity. Putting our client first.
26 years of experience, expertise and results.

Our firm has earned a reputation in bodily injury and wrongful death cases as skilled negotiators and experienced trial attorneys. First and foremost, the key to our success is putting the client's interests first. We use advanced presentation and trial techniques, while endeavoring to work each and every case to a successful result.

Q. What do you like most about your job?

A. Making a difference in the lives of our clients. No matter what the specific cause or result, a crash can turn a normal day into a prolonged struggle and be a life-altering experience. The result of what we are able to provide and negotiate on behalf of our client can be the difference between them being able to maintain a dignified life (as opposed to a life of charity) after a serious injury/accident.

Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

A. What do you think my chances for winning are?
How long do you think the claim or lawsuit will take?
What am I supposed to do for transportation now?
What about my lost wages? I can't work right now, what will happen?
I need to see a specialist, but don't know if I am covered. What should I do?
