FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge $35, for the first kitty and $20 for each one after - per night. Check in (just like a B&B, or hotel) is after 3pm and check out is between noon and 1pm, so I can clean the suite and prepare it for my next guests.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First, you contact me to find out if the dates you need to board your cat, or cats, are available. If those dates are available, I will take a deposit and put your kitty on the books. I work 6 to 8 weeks out, at the most. Before check-in I will send you a short list of items I recommend you bring along, to ensure your kitty has a good time and feels comfortable in their suite. When you check your kitty into their suite, we will sit for a while and make sure they are comfortable. I will collect emergency information, feeding schedules and the rest of the reservation fee. You let me know how many photos you'd like each day and how best to communicate with you (text or email). Each day, while your kitty stays with me, I feed them, play, cuddle and make sure their suite is clean. As well as their 9 by 11 foot suite, I provide the litter and box. You bring along their beds, bowls, food, toys and treats.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've had cats since I was 6 years old. I worked in the hotel business, was a Super Host with AirBnB and been self employed my whole life. I have been boarding kitties for two years through a pet sitting site. I've had hundreds of kitty guests and get five star reviews from each stay. Kitty mom and dad's love my sweet little set up and book with me again and again. You will too!
