Yoni came to my house to assess all of my dogs as I had multiple issues in the home regarding my dogs ( I also foster) up to and including fights to the point I was actually scared of the animals I had adopted through rescue. He gave me tips and tools and guided me with simple instructions to handle the many dogs I have. Just a few short months later I am honestly no longer scared of them fighting and we have seen just a drastic change in theirs and my attitude with pack walks. I worked my way up to where I walk all five of them at once. I am also confident enough in myself as a pack leader with my personal dogs that I feel able to start fostering again. Thank you Yoni for being one of the tools and teachers to help me get to this point with my animals. Thanks also being an available resource when I have a question or concern. That alone is invaluable for someone who constantly brings home new animals to foster.

Yoni took my fearful dog for a two week board and train at a cost of $ 1400. He falsely advertises his location facility and he has no staff. His actual home has no area to properly train dogs. He did little for my dog but walking him on a leash and introduce him to an ecollar. He didn't address his behavioral issues and wasn't obedience trained he doesn't even know sit. My dog is perfectly capable of learning commands as I have taught him place in a day. Yoni is either incompetent or doesn't dedicate the necessary time to train a dog properly and I am not the only one who thinks so. He returned home a day early because he was going out of town but didn't refund my $100 until I complained. All of my training needs for my dog were spelled out in numerous communication with Yoni and he said he would do it. When he returned him to me he just said Griffin was a nervous dog. That was just an excuse for his incompetence! He claims to be a balanced trainer but he's not. Please don't waste your time or money on this guy. I now have to spend another $1100 to send my dog to an actual balanced trainer.

Balancing Paws is top-notch! Yoni and his team at Balancing Paws are incredible, seriously! We had one of our dogs stay with his team for a week and when she came back to us, she was a different (much more balanced dog). Yoni equipped us with the tools to maintain what he created and because of that, the stress in our household is gone and our two dogs have never seemed more happy. We still go to the group classes because the environment Yoni has created is excellent!

FAQs

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

I commonly go to the home of my clients to help them with specific behavioral issues their dog(s) are displaying. From barking at guests excessively to charging people or dogs while on the walk.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Make sure to do you research on a dog trainer before you choose them. In this industry anyone can say they are a dog trainer with no consequence other than that of the customer getting poor results. Yoni's training methods have proven to be effective for basic training as well as the more severe aggression and fear issues.
