I do it all: drywall repairs and masterful texture matching, painting, carpentry (wood and metal framing), cabinet and laminate countertop installations, doors, plumbing fixtures, masonry, and more.

I protect your home because I mask off and use drop cloths inside which others do not do. I have been doing this kind of work since the 1980s. My prices are fair and reasonable.

Your satisfaction is always guaranteed!

Question and answer

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. Skills are necessary to be a good handyman, but a professional with a truly caring, friendly attitude and that is easy to work with is what it takes to make a GREAT handyman. And if he is good enough he will stand behind his work. Look for someone like this and you will be very happy and satisfied in the end.

Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?

A. Pay close attention to details. When you think you are done with a project, stand back and give it the final inspection to make sure those distracting details are fixed or else it will look amateurish. This applies whether you are making fine cuts in finished wood projects or installing doors or applying/repairing drywall or even painting (and keep your cut-in lines straight).

Q. What questions should a consumer ask to hire the right service professional?

A. A consumer should ask how they feel about the concept of treating their (the customer's) home or project as their own (the contractor). They also need to ask if they will ever require full payment in advance. The sure sign of a scam is when the worker has already started the project and somewhere before the work has been completed he starts giving this real sad story about how either he is almost homeless or his mate just left him or his wife's pet rabbit just died (that happened to me) and she is beside herself with grief because it was so special to her so he asks for an advance before the work is finished. Don't ever give in. It's not real. It's just an effort to milk the heartstrings of good decent people.
