A saddened mother came to me because she was told the data on her computer was unrecoverable after a virus rendered her computer useless. On her computer were over 6,000 photos documenting the life of her 8 year old son. She was told at the place she had originally taken her computer that it would cost over $300 to "attempt" a recovery with no guarantees.
