Introduction: Juan became interested in art at a very young age. At 12 years old, Juan entered the Valley Metro bus drawing contest, and had his art work displayed on one of the buses for winning. From this point, he was drawing on an everyday basis, oftentimes getting in trouble in class for never putting his pencil down. Not knowing at that time that art would become a career for him in the future, at 15, Juan became interested in tattooing because his older cousin was already involved in the tattoo industry,
looking up to artists like Bob Tyrrell, Jose Lopez, and Payaso.
Juan took a strong interest in black and grey style tattoo art. Juan got his first tattoo at 16, and decided to never look back, started tattooing immediately after, and found an apprenticeship to learn how to do it right. A few years into tattooing, and it has become his life's passion. Now, he is working at Studio one tattoo as a tattoo artist and learning to pierce. He specializes in black and grey, custom lettering, and portraits. Juan plans on taking his talent to the conventions this year to make his name in the industry. Keep your eye out for this up and coming tattoo talent. He will be taking the tattooed world by storm in the years to come.
