- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been doing makeup since my college years, where I did theatrical makeup. After retiring from teaching I attended classes at the Skin and Makeup Institute of Arizona. My ordination for performing weddings is from the Universal Life Church. I just completed 180 hours of continuing education to renew my Arizona teaching certificate.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I was involved in an entertainment company and attended and assisted at many events, before being approached to perform my first wedding.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I officiate at weddings. I also am a makeup artist, a day of event coordinator and have an on-site nanny service for weddings and special events. I am a retired teacher, so I have an Arizona teaching certificate and have a fingerprint clearance card.
