Fairytale Photography

Introduction: Although I wasn't born in AZ, I've lived in here since I was able to walk. So, I consider myself a native. Having either lived in or know every detail of each city in this beautiful state can also justify my claim. I have a reputation for unique photojournalism, taking intimate, fun, passionate and signature images that tell a story -- your fairy tale and your happily even after. With the use of great natural lighting techniques and imaginative angles, I create magnificent images that reflect beauty and love. Typically, the first thing a bride says to me is "I take horrible pictures." There is nothing farther from the truth that everyone is capable of looking breathtaking in every picture but only if the person on the other side of the camera taking the picture knows how, which takes a plethora of education, not to mention years of practice. I have learned that I am one of very few who have a natural talent in this arena. I humbly recognize that I was given this ability as an amazing gift, one that should not be wasted and instead taken advantage of, which is why I choose to do what I do. I am a person who captures unforgettable images that can tell a story of a thousand words -- also most commonly known as a photographer. I think wedding photos are more than that; it consists of unconditional love, adoration, joy, laughter, reminiscences of past memories, and the promise of many more to come. That's what makes them timeless and priceless at the same time. However, wedding photography has come a long way since I began over 15 years ago when you had one chance to get that perfect shot because there were certainly no do-overs when using a camera that produced an image onto a negative, versus an instant view on a screen that could be retaken repeatedly until pleased, which is why I continued using film long after most others had moved on to the digital age. I still had that one chance to capture the perfect image while others had an unlimited amount of opportunities to get it right. The greatest photographers in history learned this way and so did I, which I believe is what sets me apart from the rest. There are many professionals who have never used film and that does not make them any less qualified, but my natural abilities do make me extraordinarily talented. Now, thanks to camera technology and powerful image editing tools, wedding photographers are able to manipulate photos and create out-of-the-box wedding photos like never before, which I also take full advantage of giving you the best of both worlds' unparalleled experience with remarkable technology. On the negative side, if you have read anything I have written until now, it is the following that I hope you will listen to mostly. Even with the advancement in technology, that does not mean that anyone who owns a camera can be a photographer, so please don't allow your uncle to take the place of a professional just to help reduce the cost of your budget. I have been married before, so I can attest, not from a biased opinion, but a personal experience that your photographer should be one of your top four wedding expenses in no particular order: venue, ring, dress and photographer. To help put things in perspective as I am sure your mind is already spinning with so much to consider and then accomplish, keep this thought in mind that while flowers are stunning and a necessity, they will only make it through your wedding day. Your pictures will capture the memories of the happiest day of your life and will last forever. Regardless of which photographers you choose, even if it is not me, just remember that one piece of advice -- you will be thankful later that you did. I have set wedding packages with standard pricing, but I also offer customized options to satisfy every client's needs. Although my specialty is weddings, I've done this long enough to be fantastic with individual portraiture (such as modeling portfolios) along with children's and family photo sessions. I am famous for my unique holiday cards, making them somewhat less unpleasant to teenagers in particular, plus even the occasional pet photography, which I require to be done outdoors for obvious purposes.
