- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I typically charge $60/hour for shooting time and then throw in my editing time for free. Weddings are a flat rate of $300-900 depending on time needed and special requests. Prints are available at an extra cost on my website (www.AnaviNoslo.com) and photo books range in price from $40 to $75 based on size and style. USB drives will cost an additional $15-25 depending on size needed, or customer may provide their own. Extra travel (outside the Phoenix metro area) would cost extra and depend on location and current gas prices or airfare. I am willing to negotiate prices for smaller shoots or unique requests.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am always improving my art. I love to learn new techniques and I follow several photography blogs. Practice makes perfect!
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I became interested in photography at an early age. I never enjoyed having my picture taken and quickly realized the best way to avoid it was to be the one behind the camera. I grew up with an interest in art and decide to pursue both art and photography as my major in university.
