Brian replaced both gate posts on an RV Gate in a block fence. He and his partner tackled the job immediately upon arrival. They worked non-stop until done. I now have a fully functional gate once again. Thanks.

I got Brian's name off of Craigslist and he emailed me right away. I was looking for someone to duplicate a fence that I saw. I sent Brian pictures and he successfully recreated it in record time and made a matching gate with a rustic patina. Just on its own,, the fence is an attractive barrier between our house and the neighbor's. I'm planning to put jasmine and honeysuckle vines that will crawl along the fence and hopefully it will be the centerpiece of my garden. Brian' s a nice guy, but he could polish up his customer service skills. There was a little confusion when we thought Brian was going to build the fence entirely at our house, but he made it at his shop and then installed it. Other than that, I'm very pleased with his work.

We recently hired Brian to build a fence in front of our commercial property. Brian was very punctual. His price was very reasonable. The fence turned out great. We had a vehicle damage our fence. We found out that day how strong and well built our fence was. I called Brian to see if he could repair it. Brian came the same day and gave me an estimate. Two days later our fence was fixed and looks as good as day one. Brian does great work Odell

Well thank you Odell, were happy you're so pleased with the looks and performance of your fence. Couldn't imagine what would of happened if the car had broken through the fence. It would have been an ugly scene that's for sure. Instead it just sat there on that 40" tall wrought iron picket fence smoking its tires with nobody in it at full throttle. LoL. I guess that remote auto-start technology isn't all that and I bet the owner will be less likely to use it when the car is out of view. Thank You, Brian Vanderford Eric Waldron

Referencing to the Olson review.. I was wondering how anyone can write a review and place it on here about a job that wasn't hired through this site. Shouldn't reviews be strictly from customers who's services were rendered through Thumbtack? I think perhaps the customer jumped the gun before obtaining the correct permits and had these guys build the beautiful fence. Both parties agreed to having the fence built to city codes. It's a shame the customer did not have their homework done and knew the correct information prior to building their fence. It wasn't city code after all, it was county. Big disappointment and loss of money for all parties involved. They did however, love their fence.
All Things Steel's reply
Thank you Richene, although I don't believe we've met and I'm a little confused with how you seem to know so much about our Olson's Job and or customer if you may. Its obvious you know what's going on with their perimeter fence/pool fence job that is in question and is in the follow review below. We appreciate your input and your genuine concern for both parties. It all boiled down to two things really. The customers push to start the project without a permit and/or proper specs and the County having the Authority to Supersede the City and State Codes. As you already know, we asked the customer what City they were considered to be in and the response was City of Phoenix. We had thought they were Scottsdale and all along we were to actually follow the County Codes. We were good as far as the City of Phoenix was concerned and same goes for the State. But we were not according to the County was concerned. Thank You, Matthew Mobley Brian Vanderford
