Question and answer

Q. Describe the most common types of jobs you do for your clients.

A. Four Peaks Planning, Inc., because of our affordability, helps many young families name guardians for children and control distribution of money (normally term life insurance).

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. Ask about the process, specifically what occurs in the initial consultation and, most importantly, what steps are taken after a living trust is signed to help ensure assets are transferred into the living trust.

Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?

A. We take time early in the process to review sample estate planning documents so clients understand exactly how their plan will work and what tasks various people will undertake in their plan (ie - guardians, power of attorneys, trustees.)

Q. What do you like most about your job?

A. Every client has unique needs and a unique background, which makes planning always interesting for us. Our clients tend to be eager to learn which also fosters a great relationship.

Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

A. Does a will prevent probate? No - a will does not prevent probate. Does a living trust protect from lawsuits while its creators are living? No - a living trust does not function like an LLC or corporation for personal assets.
