Practicing with Leanne was truly a wonderful experience. As a beginning yoga student, she was very informative and patient with me and my body's lack-there-of-ability to bend. She took great care to properly demonstrate and place me in the correct positions. By the end, I felt completely relaxed. Leanne's energetic and upbeat personality will keep me coming back to my yoga adventure.

Leanne's knowledge of the body and years of experience as a dancer give her classes a beautiful rhythm and flow. Her classes are challenging and gentle at the same time. She respects the individual needs of each student, bringing a positive, playful, and generous spirit to the energy of the group.

Leanne taught a beautiful class with a clear arc from beginning to end. Her light and positive vibe supported us to stay in the moment. I loved her assistance in downward dog and her simple narration to help us flow through the asana. I feel she could speak more to alignment issues sometimes, but that is my only critical feedback.

FAQs

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

Yoga was an avenue for me to heal my body from a dance injury (I had a little fracture in my spine and could barely move!). Little did I know it was also going to heal my heart and shed new light on my life as well! Again, "Do your practice, and all is coming."

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Follow your intuition. If you feel drawn to someone's teaching style, practice more yoga with them.

  • What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

Yoga is not a religion. Although you might get hooked and do it "religiously." :-) Yoga is one of many available avenues for you to become the best person you want to be.
