Majesty Plumbing has truly exceeded my expectations. Jeff was prompt, knowledgeable, thorough, efficient, and personable. He provided a fair quote and completed the project to a high standard. Choosing any type of service provider is challenging for any homeowner or business, and I am pleased to say I don't need to search any further. I am very pleased with every aspect of Majesty Plumbing and will definitely refer this excellent business to family, friends, and business associates.

Question and answer

Q. Describe the most common types of jobs you do for your clients.

A. Residential service and repair.

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. Before starting any project in your home, be sure to do your research.

• Look for companies that are Licensed, Bonded, and Insured.
1. Licensing requires the passing of multiple state exams and extensive criminal background checks.
2. Contractors carry a bond for the state recovery fund. If your contractor is bonded, you may be eligible to recover money for damages due to inferior workmanship or improperly installed items.
3. General Liability Insurance is very important. Should you suffer damages to your home, you must be able to recover the funds required to repair your home. You can sue your contractor, but chances are he won’t be able to pay you out of his personal finances. Be sure your plumber is insured!
• Ask for referrals.
• Google the company you are considering using. Often times people who have had unpleasant experiences with a company will blog about it. You can get an unscripted opinion of the company by seeing what other people think of them.

Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?

A. It's not necessary to call a plumber to un-jam your garbage disposal in most cases. Here is a link to a helpful video that may help get you out of that "jam".

Q. What important information should buyers have thought through before seeking you out?

A. That all depends on the issue you are having.

Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?

A. We feel that good service has become the exception rather than the rule these days. We believe that good service not only involves fixing the problem, but encompasses everything from the person who answers the phone to the technician that comes to your home. We pride ourselves in great, courteous, professional service at a competitive price.

Q. What do you like most about your job?

A. We get our satisfaction from happy customers. It's always great to get calls, emails, and even letters from customers who just wanted to tell us how happy they were with the service we provided.

Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

A. My customer's plumbing questions range from everything from an odor they may be getting to re-piping their home. I am always straight with my customers and will never mislead you. If I don't know the answer to your question, I'll tell you!

Q. Do you have a favorite story from your work?

A. Many of my customers have considerd me to be a "big guy". So I am often asked, "What did you play in school?" My answer: "The clarinet!" True story, true answer!

Q. What do you wish customers knew about you or your profession?

A. Plumbers do more than just unclog toilets. The industry has progressed over the years and often utilizes modern technology to solve age old problems.

Q. How did you decide to get in your line of work?

A. I moved to Arizona from New York in 1994 and was just looking to do plumbing until I decided what I wanted to do "when I grew up". Well, after 16 years, I guess I have my answer!

Q. Tell us about a recent job you did that you are particularly proud of.

A. We were able to save a customer from extensive damage to her floors inside the home due to two separate slab leaks she had. We were able to resolve the problem by re-routing the bad lines through the wall and ceilings saving having to jackammer inside her beautiful home.

Q. Do you do any sort of continuing education to stay up on the latest developments in your field?

A. There are always new things being developed and I try to stay on top of these developments if I feel it is something that will benefit my customers.

Q. What are the latest developments in your field? Are there any exciting things coming in the next few years or decade that will change your line of business?

A. Tankless water heaters, and green technology are becoming more stated in the industry.

Q. Describe your most recent project, what it involved, how much it cost, and how long it took.

A. Using the re-routing example mentioned above, it took 3 days and cost $3200.00. Not all re-routes are the same. Some can take more time and money and others less. It really depends on the situation and the setup of the home and where the lines are and need to be run to.

Q. If you have a complicated pricing system for your service, please give all the details here.

A. All of our jobs are quoted on a flat rate basis.

Q. If you were advising someone who wanted to get into your profession, what would you suggest?

A. Be willing to work hard.

Q. Write your own question and answer it.

A. Do you offer guarantees on your work?

Yes. We offer a 90 day guarantee on all drain cleaning performed from a cleanout or other proper access. All of our plumbing work has a 1 year guarantee on parts and labor.
