FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
To estimate the fee we may charge to represent a defendant in a criminal or traffic case, please use our fee estimator online, on our website -- search for "fee-estimate". Any estimated fee calculated is just that, an estimate. Each case is different, and a case may be more complex (hence more expensive) or less complex (hence less expensive), depending on the facts and circumstances.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We typically review the basic information, such as the name of the court involved, the charges pending, which, if any, agency investigated, any court dates already passed or coming up, the circumstances of the events, and anything that may be used in defense or mitigation. That is usually enough information to gauge the size and scope of the work, and to quote a fee. We review the options open to the potential client, and some of the risks, benefits, and costs, as well as the timelines. Once hired, we file paperwork with the courts and other agencies, and proceed to represent our client to the fullest of our abilities.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
