    I used to hate to work out, but since I started training with Clarence, I actually love working out now. I have a long way to go, but it seems a little easier with his support.

    My friend and I started working out 2-3 days a week with Clarence about a month ago. He pushes us, but is very kind and supportive. I am sore and can definitely tell I am building muscle. He also mixes it up so it's different every time. The gym is great--not crowded and everyone is just focused on working hard. Clarence also provided a food plan (which I haven't been good at following yet!), and he is also willing to work with me to figure out how I need to eat differently to lose weight. I am anxious to get off some pounds so I can see all the muscles underneath this layer of fat! I'd highly recommend working with Clarence.

Q. Describe the most common types of jobs you do for your clients.

A. Fat loss, Nutrition Programs. I work with a variety of figure competitors and Body Builders . I get a lot of brides to be who want too look good on there big day.My down time is spent writing my blogs and answering my clients emails. Most people generally come to meet to get into better shape.

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. The best advice I can give is to go to a workout, check out the facility, look at their policies and the their track record.

Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?

A. Ask for referrals! A Good trainer will have referrals and before and afters pictures. They should offer proof of their abilities not a certification on the wall. And Ask do they guarantee there work? Not too many out are willing to back their service.

Q. What important information should buyers have thought through before seeking you out?

A. The Potential client should have a time frame they are willing to commit too, also they should know if they are the final decision maker. They also should know what their budget is.

Q. How did you decide to get in your line of work?

A. I kinda fell into it, I was writing programs for friends and family and other athletes. Then I got certified and thought "Hey I kinda make a difference and make a living" Besides I love the interaction with people.

Q. Tell us about a recent job you did that you are particularly proud of.

A. I'm Proud of three clients who did particular well all have lost over 30 pounds in weight loss challenges I have ran.

Q. Do you do any sort of continuing education to stay up on the latest developments in your field?

A. My certifications require me to stay current on new information, and training techniques in order too stay certified. I read constantly and match wits with my colleagues on a regular basis. I also subscribe to various industry leaders to stay informed also to know what foolishness is coming down the pipe.

Q. What are the latest developments in your field? Are there any exciting things coming in the next few years or decade that will change your line of business?

A. I would say that the biggest thing right now is more people are taking advantage of group training mainly because of economics as well as they are finding out they can get the same results of one on one training if they can follow there meal plans and just stay committed. This isn't a new trend at this point but a lot of people are opting in for 30 minute sessions a good trainer can get same results as a trainer doing a hour session.

Q. Describe your most recent project, what it involved, how much it cost, and how long it took.

A. My most recent project was a 6 week challenge that I did for a company called Bowne. I gave all the contestants meal plans and workout plans and they all competed for a grand prize. I proud to say Tawni Espinosa won with the most weight loss of 6 weeks (32 pounds

A. Our fee structure is very simple. We charge all our customers on a monthly basis(EFT).

Q. If you were advising someone who wanted to get into your profession, what would you suggest?

A. I would advise any new trainer to study Business, Marketing along with getting a reputable Certification. I would advise them to learn to communicate and make sure they enjoy working with people . This is a people business. And You have to be comfortable in this arena.

From a Physical stand point you should have a solid working and verbal understanding of the human anatomy. You should be able to tell your client why they doing something and "what the goal of the exercise is"

A. What is my favorite part of the business?

My favorite part of the business is watch the renewed confidence my clients gain when they fit into a old pair of jeans. Or they call me with their weekly weight loss number.
