Question and answer

Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?

A. Having been trained in the world of fashion and commercial photography, I am very aware of the details. Clothing, pose, lighting, composition, mood, eyes, contrast, color, etc. I started my career as an assistant for commercial photographers, then interned in fashion photography in Paris, where the goal is to produce an image that is a stand alone piece of art as well as part of a story. I apply all these things to my pictures, and I have an excellent ability to make people comfortable in front of the lens.

Q. What do you like most about your job?

A. I enjoy the many diverse experiences my profession offers. I meet people from everywhere who do everything, and there is always a great story involved. I enjoy the flexibility of what I can create, and I enjoy the relationships formed in the process.

Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

A. The most common question is: What kind of Photography do you do?
And the answer is tricky. The technical answer would be fashion photography with a commercial edge... But I really don't like to try and classify what I do in any particular genre. Every situation is different, people are different, circumstances are different. I take pictures that have resonance, that are aesthetically beautiful regardless of the subject. When working with people, I wait until they are comfortable enough to reveal something they may not normally disclose. An expression- a mood- an emotion... This translates into a very memorable photograph.
