Introduction: Corder Security/Corder Community Services Inc. is a multi-faceted Security company. Our security guards, unarmed and armed, wear uniforms and patrol in high visibility vehicles as a deterrent to crime. We provide Business and Home Security Checks and provide security for special events. Our Private Investigators work under the direct supervision of retired law enforcement professionals to do in-depth investigations and provide background checks, process serving, drug screening and many other services.

How did you get started doing this type of work?
We're John Corder and Terry Ringey, the former police chiefs of Show Low and Pinetop-Lakeside. Together, we've got more than 50 years of professional and civic experience in our community. We understand the value of a handshake and the importance of greeting someone by his first name. We appreciate the history of this area and recognize its potential. It's growing, and life might seem a little more complicated in the years to come. So we created Corder Community Services. Even though we retired from public service, we weren't ready to stop helping the people who enrich our lives every day. We're proud of Show Low, Pinetop-Lakeside and the whole White Mountains region. We enjoy the high quality of life we have here on the mountain and we want to continue to enhance it.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Always make sure the Security company or Home Watch provider is really licensed with the Arizona Department of Public Safety! Always make sure they are well trained, bonded and insured!
