Q. Describe the most common types of jobs you do for your clients.
A. I do a lot of makeup and hair work through out the Arizona I also do some work in NY and CA. I do mostly weddings and photo shoots. H/o I also do music videos,films, events. I do Tons of makeup and hair for various fashion websites. including: all the makeup for Aliomi.com ( as seen in teen vogue)
Q. What do you like most about your job?
A. Experiencing clients come to the realization that they're beautiful from the inside out! I view my work as a piece of art. I love to create and love bringing out natural beauty.
Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A. I have a lot of bridesmaids, are you able to do all our hair ans makeup? Answer: I hire out a professional makeup/hair artist to help with bridesmaids.
Do you travel? Yes, I travel up to 50 miles free.
Q. Do you have a favorite story from your work?
A. My favorite story's from, when I was working at Sara Noelle Hair salon in Rye,NY and a women with cancer came in. She needed her hair done b/c she was receiving an award at a special event. After she got her hair done I told her I also did makeup and she asked if she could have a makeup application.. Afterward she couldn't stop looking at herself and she told me.. "that I hope I realize what I've done for her." She said she hadn't felt that beautiful in years!
Q. How did you decide to get in your line of work?
A. I've worked in the beauty industry since I was 13 years old. My Dad has owned a hair salon for over 30 years and I grew up working there. I also have always been intrigued by faces and have been drawing faces and people and painting my whole life. It seemed natural to move my love for creating faces to a real live canvas.
