Welcome to Pup 'n' Pony Luv, the premier in-your-home pet sitting service in Northwest Valley, featuring the very most excellent care for your very best friends. After all, your pets are our family, for a short while anyway.

* In-home pet sitting and house sitting:

We are not a kennel, and we do not board pets. Our professional, bonded and insured sitters come to your home. We maintain the schedules your pets are already used to daily including feeding, walking and exercise time, outdoor "business" breaks, and more. While at your home, we can rotate lights, open and close blinds and drapes, feed fish, water indoor plants, and double-check all home security, as well as water outlets.

Our typical visit consists of a 5-minute home and security check, and the remaining 20 to 30 minutes devoted entirely to your pet. We have a "While You Were Away" report which is prepared and updated at every visit.

If you wish, we will also send you free text and/or picture messages daily or even during each visit to keep you up to date of your pet's well-being and wonderful care.

* Ranch, farm and equestrian pet sitting visits:

Our professional, insured and bonded pet sitters will come to your facility or ranch. We will tend to just about anything Old MacDonald kept down on his farm.

Our sitters are skilled and trained equestrian owners and riders themselves. Pup 'n' Pony Luv's staff are highly endorsed and recommended by River Ridge Farm by Rosie Snell in Sun City, Arizona. Our references are available upon request.

Our typical visit consists of approximately 45 minutes to drop feed, fill or refresh water and make a wellness check of your ranch animals. And a "While You Were Away" report is also prepared and updated, and we will also feed and water your outdoor ranch-hand pups and kits free of charge.

If you like, we could also send text or picture message updates daily too.

We also offer overnights and live-in pet care.

We are members of AZ Pet Professionals, The Arizona Valley Pet Sitters and Services (AZVPSS), The HSUS, and Best Friends Animal Society. We are canine and feline CPR and first-aid trained, as well as knowledgeable equestrian care givers. We are fully bonded and insured by Pet Sitters Associates, LLC.

Excellent care for your pets and home--I'd highly recommend Pup 'n' Pony Luv to anyone in the West Valley! Bari and Cali loved Kelly and so did we. I'll never board or leave our babies to anyone else again. They were happy at home, where they belong!

Question and answer

Q. Describe the most common types of jobs you do for your clients.

A. Our most common pet sits are "drop-ins". This involves us to call on our pet clients as often as necessary in any given day to assure they are happy, healthy and loved.

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. It is most important that all clients hire a fully insured, bonded and pet trained professional pet sit and pet care provider.

Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?

A. That not all "pet sitters" are alike. Many can offer "low priced bargain" pet sitting because they are not insured for liability.

Q. What important information should buyers have thought through before seeking you out?

A. The client should know their actual travel dates before contacting a sitter. Many pet sit companies fill their calendars many months in advance, so you want to give as much notice as possible.

Q. What do you like most about your job?

A. This is an EASY answer...I love working with the pets, of course! Being my own "boss" is great too.

Q. What do you wish customers knew about you or your profession?

A. That fact that pet sitting and pet care in general is all I do. Many other sitters actually have other jobs on the side...we make YOUR pets our ONLY priority!

Q. If you have a complicated pricing system for your service, please give all the details here.

A. We try to keep it as simple as possible but there are many factors that can influence our price structure. The number of pets, if sitting is requested on a holiday and how far away our services are requested in our service area.
