Q. Describe the most common types of jobs you do for your clients.

A. Hanging TV's, hanging TV's and hanging more TV's! Either on a wall, on the patio or above a fireplace. Second most common would be wiring up a basic surround system.

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. Be sure to shop price AND knowledge. Ask a lot of questions if you must call around before choosing us. Also ask about insurance and/or a lifetime guarantee...

Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?

A. I wish I knew the little in's and out's as well as what actually all goes into a properly installed system.

Q. What important information should buyers have thought through before seeking you out?

A. We need to know how many TV's you have to hang or hookup. We need to know how large are they, where exactly are they going to be hung, and how many things you plan on hooking up to each TV. For surround, how big is the room? And very important, is there accessible ATTIC space above the room we're working on? Is your house a 2-story?

A. Because we have over 30 years of combined professional experience in the field, and we truly enjoy and care about what we do. You will notice the organization and attention to detail in our work.

Q. What do you like most about your job?

A. The constantly changing and imporving technology as well as the smile on a customer's face!

Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

A. Is this all you do, full-time?... "YES"

Q. Do you have a favorite story from your work?

A. All my happy clients are great stories!

Q. What do you wish customers knew about you or your profession?

A. That even though you may see multiple contractors claiming to be professional, truly good help is hard to find if you want it done right the first time.

Q. How did you decide to get in your line of work?

A. It just evolved out of my love for electronics, my passion for music, and achieving that perfect audiophile level of sound. I've been tinkering with this stuff since I was 14. Doing it as a job and career since I was 20. Now I'm 37, and own the business!

Q. Tell us about a recent job you did that you are particularly proud of.

A. 3 TV's hung, one over the fireplace and 2 on interior walls. Two seperate glass shelving units that house all of the components also hung on walls, all wiring invisible. Q. Do you do any sort of continuing education to stay up on the latest developments in your field?

A. Everyday in the field, as well as constant reading up online and in magazines keeps us on our toes.

Q. What are the latest developments in your field? Are there any exciting things coming in the next few years or decade that will change your line of business?

A. Of course we all know about HD... then there was 1080p, now get ready for 3D!!! Yep, 3 dimensional television right in your living room.

Q. Describe your most recent project, what it involved, how much it cost, and how long it took.

A. See two questions above... the only thing I left out was that we did it all for under $900! (of course he already had the TV's, DVD players, etc.)

Q. If you have a complicated pricing system for your service, please give all the details here.

A. Not complicated at all. We like to work out a hard quote before we even get started. It is based on getting the job done correctly, not how long it takes. If the job must be quoted hourly, it's generally $80/hr.

Q. If you were advising someone who wanted to get into your profession, what would you suggest?

A. Start now. The sooner the better, it's not getting any easier to understand and follow.
