Now Offering Diabetic Alert Dog Training
Diabetic Alert Dogsare trained to assist Type 1 Diabetics and Insulin Dependant Diabetics to manage their blood glucose levels. Dogs are taught to recognize both Low and High blood glucose levels and to alert their partners when levels are out of a safe range. This program is especially useful for those who are hypoglycemia unaware.

Not all people with diabetes have difficulty “feeling” their lows and highs during the day, however they may have the misfortune of missing the low blood glucose symptoms at night or while pre-occupied at home.

A. Vs Cloud9 K-9 LLC teaches people how to have a successful and harmonious relationship with their dog through positive reinforcement based training. This relationship creates a strong theraputic bond for people with diabetes and their dogs, which is an additional benefit of having a dog that can potentially save the handler's life or help them gain better control over the long term effects of accumilated glucose in the blood system or the fast and dangerous effects of hypoglycemic episodes.
