- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I offer a referral bonus of $150 for each client that is referred to me through an existing client. Additionally, if you are willing to allow me to show your home I will give a 10% discount on services. For painting, trim carpentry, furniture, installations and mounting I charge a flat rate. I do a variety of other services that I charge a $45/hr (+$35 less than 3 hours) fee.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to have a transparent conversation regarding the customer’s vision for the work being performed as well as logistics surrounding the process. My #1 priority is always customer satisfaction, so the first step for me is always to become perfectly clear on exactly what a potential customer wants/needs and what would be the best way to get there.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have 4 years of painting experience (2 years selling paint, 2 years applying) and 3 years of experience in Carpentry. I am only 25, so I understand that I am likely less experienced than some of my competitors, however I’ve more experience than most my age and I try run my business using modern practices, a benefit that I believe translates directly to the customer.
