Question and answer

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. While the economy might be rough right now, remember to always look into the quality of materials that a web or graphic designer will be producing. It reflects on you and your business. Saving a few hundred dollars might end up costing you thousands in lost business if you don't look professional.

Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?

A. Is website design really all that difficult? My nephew took a few classes in high school; couldn't I just have him design me a page? This is all-too-common, especially in Tucson. The web is an ever-changing, ever demanding atmosphere, and to get good results on the search engines and a site worthy of business-related leads, one should definitely consider a professional designer an invaluable asset to their business.

Q. What questions should a consumer ask to hire the right service professional?

A. Beyond just the portfolio and rates, the customer should feel comfortable in dealing with their designer. Chances are, you will be spending a lot of time interacting with this individual, and developing a strong business relationship with them. If they speak techno-greek to you, and you can't communicate, the design will reflect that.

Q. What important information should buyers have thought through before seeking you out?

A. Buyers should always carefully consider what they like and don't like in a design before hiring a designer. A good designer should be able to adapt to any style and imitate other works if necessary. If the buyer has a good idea of what they are looking for ahead of time, chances are the design will be cleaner, and more refined in the end.

Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?

A. Because of my background. I have extensive experience in traditional fine arts as well as modeling and animation.
