Dear Amanda,

Thank you so much for taking care of Bailey. We are very comfortable knowing that you take such great care of her while giving her positive coaching on basic training, especially potty training. All the directives and tips you have given us has helped immensely. Every day you have had her, she has come home very happy, eager to play, and even the potty training has got better since you have had her. We are new parents to a very sweet puppy, and having you in our lives makes it easier to understand Bailey, especially when times can be so frustrating with a new puppy. I will be sure to recommend you to my friends and colleagues.

Thank you so much,
Joe and Mina Lara

Question and answer

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. Always ensure the individual caring for your pets is well informed of not only important knowledge regarding your pet(s), but also your home. Check references and set up an initial visit to meet your provider before leaving them a key to your home and entrusting them with the care of your beloved four legged family members. Remember to keep in touch with your provider.

Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?

A. I offer very professional services at affordable rates. My primary concerns are the wellness of your pet(s), the safety and security of your home, and your satisfaction as the customer. I am fortunate enough to have met and worked with thousands of animals throughout my life and my knowledge base from such is rather extensive.

Q. What do you like most about your job?

A. The opportunity to meet both new clients and their pet(s) is incredibly rewarding. Each have such individuality and uniqueness that make them fun and rewarding to be acquainted with.

Q. How did you decide to get in your line of work?

A. I was already providing these same services to friends and family, and friends/acquaintances of friends and family, when I decided to make it a more professional and growing business. I have spent my life around multiple types of animals and love the opportunity to spend time with them and meet new people.

Q. If you were advising someone who wanted to get into your profession, what would you suggest?

A. My most important suggestions would be to be a people person and be professional yet personal with your clients, have a true love for animals, and always expect the unexpected. When caring for client's homes and pets during their absence you will most likely face new and unique challenges that you must rise to the occasion for to ensure the pet(s) safety and clients satisfaction. Such as a power outage in 110 degree weather with a fragile 19 year old kitty (solution: contact client, electric company, check with neighbors, await power to be fixed etc), this is just one example of many situations you must be prepared to face.
