Jimmy was awesome! We had a last minute surprise 16th bday party for our daughter. He agreed last minute to do it and was amazing we planned this in a matter of less than 5 days and once we booked Jimmy the party was on and he was so helpful and accommodating for having never used a DJ before. He was the party!! Everyone had so much fun and we for sure will be using Jimmy again. Thank you so much for making it a nite to remember. The kids would like us to have a DJ and throw a party like that all the time if we could. Thank you again Jimmy for making it a fun time and going above and beyond. Anthony & Noelle

I wanted to write a great review for Jimmy Jam but there aren’t even words to describe how perfect of a DJ he is. Perhaps, because he’s not just a DJ. He was the MC. He had great recommendations for the flow of the wedding. He got everyone at my wedding to listen to him and organize wedding chaos. He had the BEST tunes! He was able to start with some oldies and classics for when my parents and family was there and then play a bit more risqué music when the kids and older generations were gone. He even played my very favorite genre of music which is drum and bass. Not many people even know about the genre but he made sure he had music to make this bride feel so special! He was just absolutely perfect and you won’t find a better DJ. Honestly, for everything he does, he could quadruple his price and you’d still be getting a smoking deal. You can tell he loves what he does and it’s not just a “job”. Also, he’s just an overall super cool guy that makes you feel comfortable from the get go and like he’s your pal. My review doesn’t even do him justice, when you book him you’ll know what I mean.

First off, he showed up extra early to set up and stayed over an hour later to play music while we cleaned our venue. He was professional, played great music, and catered to my daughters music taste and mine. Jimmy is a super nice guy that takes what he's does very seriously and promises a good time. I have to say that I hired Jimmy Jam strictly from the previous ratings and was still skeptical but after emailing with him and texting back and forth with him, it was a no brainer to hire him for my daughters Quince. He did what he promised and made sure I didn't worry about anything. I will be hiring him again and recommending him to family and friends. Thank you for becoming a member of our family events for years to come!

Outstanding service from Jimmy!! Last weekend was a blast for my hubby's bday party and Jimmy helped me make it so much more memorable! Everyone was impressed! He was there early to set up and he was very professional. I had given him a last minute playlist to add and he delivered so well. What I loved about him was how passionate he is for what he does and you can definitely tell! You are my DJ from now on, thank you so very much Jimmy!! Can't wait for the next PARTY, let's keep the jams going!!!!

DJ Jimmy Jam is a must hire! I contracted him to DJ a surprise birthday party and he did an outstanding job. First, his customer service is top notch. DJ Jimmy kept in contact with me and made sure everything was ready to go the day of the party. He even volunteered to come a couple of hours early (at no additional cost!) to set up his equipment in order not to disturb the mariachi we hired to perform before his DJ time started. DJ Jimmy is very friendly, honest and down to earth. His setup was awesome! He filled the room with pretty lights and did a great job feeling the crowd leading him to play music that everyone enjoyed and danced to. DJ Jimmy had a great variety of music from Spanish, to flashbacks to pop. It was great working with him and I wouldn't hesitate to hire him again.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
All my quotes include professional audio equipment, lighting, wireless microphone, MC services and fog machine (if desired). I don't have packages. You get EVERYTHING with that quote.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Catering to my client is of the utmost importance! I want my client to be confident they are hiring a dj who truly cares about the wants and needs of both the event planners and party goers. I welcome being interviewed for the event prior to being hired and very receptive to a meet and greet prior to the event to assess the layout of the venue and ensure I bring all the necessary sounds and lighting for the event.

Personally trained by 1 of the hottest DJs in the city of Chicago, Dj Lookout and Dj TLM
