FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I offer personalized one-on-one lessons, typically on a weekly or biweekly basis. Rates can vary depending on lesson frequency and the specific format that makes the most sense for the student. I’m always happy to discuss options during a free consultation so you have a clear sense of the investment before getting started. My goal is to find a structure that feels sustainable and gives us enough consistency to make real progress.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
In our first messages back and forth, I’ll get a sense of your musical background, what you’re hoping to learn, and what brought you to lessons now. From there, we’ll schedule a free consultation call where we can talk through your goals, lesson options, scheduling, and whether it feels like a good fit. Once we’ve found the right plan, we’ll set up lesson number one and hit the ground running.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I started piano lessons at age 8 and have stayed deeply involved with music ever since. My background began in classical piano, and over time expanded into music theory, composition, arranging, songwriting, performance, and production. While studying music in college, I worked as a choir director and performed in bands and original projects. Since then, I’ve continued to work as a pianist, keyboardist, composer, arranger, producer, and teacher. These experiences helped me connect traditional musicianship with the practical, creative goals many students bring into lessons.
