Mike and Sivan are the kind of contracting team you find and use for everything! Good contractors are hard to find, great ones you use forever. From our first exchange on Thumbtack to the completion of our project they were amazing. Mike gave us an estimate for the work and the project was completed at the budget he specified and ahead of schedule. Sivan was communicative about the day to day updates on the work and materials, had great design suggestions and ideas and was a pleasure to deal with. As a team it shows that they love what they do and take pride in providing you with a beautiful end product. I will use them for any and all projects in the future and would recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable and talented contracting team. Can’t say enough good things about them and their work. HIRE THESE PRO’S! We had an unfinished attic that we turned into a den. Mike & Sivan handled every aspect of the build. Framing, Sheetrock, electrical, paint, finish work, flooring. They turned our unused space into a beautiful and inviting part of our home. Such a good job. Better than we could have imagined. They are top notch pros with amazing skills and friendly and honest on top of it.

Where to begin? Mike transformed our basement from an unfinished storage room to a great space that I can use for a downstairs reading room/library! He did more than I asked for or expected to make the room livable and inviting. Even installing a secret door that also serves as a built in bookshelf. I am so impressed with his professionalism, skill, and capabilities that I can recommend him to anyone looking for a remodel in a heartbeat. Mike was great at suggesting options: a wood pillar casing for the stark metal post that I otherwise would have painted; a closet for the electrical panel so it isn't an eyesore. The room is so much more than it ever was, and he stayed on budget throughout the process. Great guy, easy to work with, and very trustworthy. Will have him back to do more work in the future, I am certain!

I had Mike & team take care of my basement, and garage area after a water leak remediation. They were very professional and worked with lot of honesty and sincerity to complete the project. They were very open and willing to listen to my accommodations all way. I would gladly recommend him and his team and hire them again for any future projects.

This is my first time using Thumbtack. Mike at S.H.N LLC Designs did a great job. I needed drywall repaired on a couple of walls. He responded within minutes and came out the same day to give me a quote. I would hire Mike again, we already discussed a future basement project and I would recommend him to friends.

Happy to post a 5-star review for SHN Designs! I found SHN Designs and Mike off of the Thumbtack App. He had excellent reviews, so I thought it would be worth giving him a shot. For the first project, I hired Mike to remove the microwave above my stove and install a hood. He also cleaned up the backsplash tile. That job went very smoothly, and I was satisfied with the outcome. I then hired Mike to renovate my floors, rip out the laminate and install title floors. Mike and his team spent about two weeks making this happen, but took a lot of care in getting the job done. In addition to tiling, Mike also installed new baseboards. Overall, very happy with the outcome. I really like that Mike communicates well with his customers. I will be hiring him again for future home projects!
