MathEdge+:Sharpen Problem Solving Skills and Excel in Math Competitions (Grades K-8, School-Yr-Round)
Want to learn valuable problem solving skills, logical math, critical reading, written and oral presentation skills—all in one package? Come and join one of our ongoing classes (Jump Start, Beginner, Pre-Int, Int, Adv, Competitive) and also get some training to be a competitive mathlete and have the chance to win prestigious math competitions such as MathOlympiads, MathCounts, PMWC, and/or AMC.
This program is designed for math students who are advanced, set in a dynamic, interactive, small-sized class and nurturing environment. Emphasis is given on the understanding of fundamental concepts and approaches (instead of a simple rote math memorization and manipulation) and how to effectively apply them in solving problems that are complex and would help succeed in an increasingly competitive global environment.
An assessment is required before joining. Program runs for 10 months, from September until June. Sign-up is either by semester or by whole year. Each level has its own curriculum.
