Piedmont Pet is one of the best dog walking businesses in the Bay Area. Karen and Matt Kenney have been in business for many years, and I have always known them to be honest and deeply loving people who really care about the animals. I've seen them on the job on the trails in Oakland hills with their beloved doggie clients, and they are truly attentive to the dogs, completely focused on making the pets in their care happy and safe, well exercised and loved. You can't go wrong with Piedmont Pet! Wendy

A. For Boarding/ Daycare guests, please make sure your dog is cat friendly, up to date on shots and is housebroken. Your dog will also need to be able to climb stairs, although if your dog is small he/she can be carried up and down. All guests go for an hour hike in the Regional Parks so please make sure your dog wears a current ID tag and a city license or rabies vaccination tag.
A. We're certified dog walkers thru dogTEC, we're trained in pet first aid & CPR, we hold professional dog walker permits from the regional park system. Online payments accepted for your convenience. We take photo's of your dog having fun on the trails and upload them to Flickr daily. Karen Kenney is a Certified Reiki II Practitioner.
A. Spending all day with my four legged friends out in the beautiful East Bay Regional Parks. We hike up in the hills or play down at the beach for one hour minimum. Group outings are offered daily rain or shine, Monday thru Friday. We practice positive reinforcement training on the trails.
A. How many dogs are in your group walks? No more than 6 per person as required by our Regional Park permits. How long will my dog be away from my home on these walks? Average round trip for trail walks is approx. 3 1/2 hours. Dogs are guaranteed 1 hour minimum off leash time, the rest is travel time with their buddies.
