Question and answer

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. When shopping for SEO services, you're going to find wide range of pricing platforms. Consider the old adage "you get what you pay for". It's easy to give money to a company that doesn't take the time to learn about you or your business.

I also recommend having a look at the vendor's own web presence. Do they rank for their own search terms? Are they mentioned on other sites? Do they interact through social media? If they're not doing very well for themselves, how can they make you any promises?

Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?

A. With enough time and a ton of reading, you can do this job yourself. I could probably change the oil in my own car as well, but I don't. SEO changes all the time, and there's lots of misinformation online and you could end up sabotaging yourself rather improving your status.

If you really want to jump in and try this stuff on your own, start with SEOBook.com and read! If it makes no sense, then give us a call and we'll help!

Q. What questions should a consumer ask to hire the right service professional?

A. Ask the basic questions... contract term length, guarantees, etc. Make sure you get the responsibilities of the provider defined before you hand over any money.

Q. How did you decide to get in your line of work?

A. Running a small business years ago, I was frustrated seeing my competitors seemingly always being ahead when it came to organic online rankings. I took it upon myself to spend some time figuring it out, and after years of study and practical proven results, I'm able to share my skills with others.
