I have had the pleasure of taking piano lessons from Mr. Evans.in recent years. He is a seasoned professional in both the technical and the artistic aspects of making music. He is very personable and enthusiastic in his teaching style. He will design an individualized program for each student based upon their unique talents and potential for musical growth. He works well with students of all ages.. Larry was the ideal teacher for me in that I had not played the piano for 25 years and had become quite rusty. In just a few months, Larry had me playing again like I used to in my younger days and loving it.. Larry is quite accomplished in many musical styles and I highly recommend him.

Larry is a phenomenal instructor. He is very patient and tailors the instruction to the student. I took piano when I was in high school but am realizing that the teacher wasn't that good, and I am missing many "holes" in theory and sight reading. Larry is filling in those spaces, no pun intended. He is excellent with all age ranges, and very competitive with pricing. His genres include jazz, classical, pop, and so he isn't stuck just teaching one style.

When i first started lessons with Larry 4 years ago, I was awe-struck by his thorough professionalism & knowledge pertaining to classical compositions as well as popular & jazz material. Though quick to point out any mistakes I make during & after the playing of a piece, he is patient & non-judgmental. He cares about you wanting to succeed but to have fun at the same time in the process.
