A. #1, I'm usually asked in some way or another if I'll work for free. The answer is No, I do not work for free. Do you?

An amusing role-play:

Prospective Customer: We have a friend that will record/produce us for FREE!

Answer: So why aren't you over there right now?

#2, I'm sometimes asked why I don't have as much gear as their friend who will record/produce them for free.

Answer: Studios can have several racks packed with all kinds of fancy or vintage gear that never get used; it's usually just for show. So what's your point sonny?
