Hello! My name is Chris Ellis and I am a Los Angeles based photographer, born and raised in the San Gabriel Valley. I have been lucky to find that my passion has become my full time job. Everyday I get the chance to shoot my clients, meet amazing new friends, and share my passion with those around me. I have learned that everyday moments; moments between people, are what I really loved most. I want to capture your perfect moments, and help you keep those memories forever. Over the last few years, I have shot everything from big charity events with the cast of Sons of Anarchy, to intimate backyard weddings where I was the only invited guest. My clients range from Miss California contestants to my elementary school friends. Pasadena is my hometown, and my favorite place to shoot. I treat all my clients like they are my friends, because really thatâs what they are. I am a Canon fanboy at heart and a total geek when it comes to gear. What types of customers have you worked with?
At Chris Ellis Photography we primarily shoot weddings, headshots, and lifestyle portraiture. We serve clients throughout Southern California and work with some of the best vendors in the area. Our packages are flexible and we would love to discuss exactly what you are looking for so we can make a package that is right for you!
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
When looking for a photographer for their special day I always tell my clients one thing - if you aren't clicking, don't do it! I remind my clients that the photographer will be the one person who will be spending more time with you on your wedding day than even your soon to be spouse! So it's very important that you feel comfortable with your photographer. I always try to get to know my clients before their wedding day so I can be fully prepared to capture their unique personality through my work.
