Why rent 2 vehicles.

Here at the Napa Sonoma Wine Tasting Driver, we offer you a safe way to enjoy supporting our local wineries and wine bars.

The Napa/Sonoma area is a premier destination worldwide for wine lovers.

Your choosing to have a wine tasting guide/driver is to your benefit in many ways. Most importantly, they keep you safe. Secondarily, wine tasting in the Northern California wine country can come in many forms. This is where we can help you make sure your day of wine tasting is in the form you desire.

A day in wine country usually consists of 4-6 different wineries. It will last from 6 to 8 hours, and can be with a picnic/lunch and/or a lovely dinner as part of your day.

We can create a day of wine tasting, which will allow you to experience the diversity and quality of our local venues. It can come in one of these 4 forms below or a mixture of all 4, should you choose a truly eclectic day.

* Current Special: We offer a $10pp cheese, prosciutto and wine pairing, at a Napa Valley winery tasting room, comped with a wine purchase. A 72-hour notice or more is needed, to ensure availability.

* Option #1: The Standard Form or the No Set Itinerary Form

This is where you just say "drive here or there", and you take the day as it comes at you.

* Option #2: The Appointment Form!

This is where you are given more attention at the tasting rooms you choose or that are chosen for you by us.

* Option #3: A Day of Truly Special Experiences!

This option needs at least a notice of 7 days or longer, to ensure availability. This will include a day of cheese and wine and a lunch/food and wine pairing.

* Option #4: Your Itinerary Form!

We go from your already-set itinerary and whatever it entails.

*Option #5:
Napa Select Wineries. 4 Private and Secluded Tastings.
$45PP - $85PP. Only Our Itinerary Form.

Whichever way, you choose. We will accommodate your wishes.

As part of your Napa Sonoma wine tasting day, you can be treated to special offers and discounts provided by the wineries, wine bars and restaurants. Just ask us how. It is all in the comfort of your own vehicle or rental car.

We service primarily the San Francisco Bay Area and the Northern California Wine Country.

We have Class C Drivers, as well as Class A/B Commercial Drivers with Passenger Endorsement.

There is a 6-hour minimum service time. There is a one way Travel Fee for distances over 40 miles or for San Francisco pickups.

The rate is $30/Hr. for regular Class C Drivers, for groups up to 8.

Class B Drivers are $40/Hr. for groups of 9 or more.
Otherwise, you are driving illegally.

A refundable $30-per-day deposit is required to book/reserve any date/s.

A $90-per-day deposit is required for a Special Itinerary and includes the $30 deposit.

A 7 day notice is needed for a refund.

Thank you.

What an enjoyable day! Dave was so nice and the day was very relaxed. He was on time and we never felt pressure to hurry or leave a place. And the best part is no set itinerary. We had a couple places we wanted to go and asked for ideas for others and he had some great ones!!! Yes, will use again. Thanks

We are just recently returned from a great Napa Valley vacation. While there, we hired a driver to make sure we could enjoy as much tasting as possible. Champie, our “driver-for-hire,” did a fantastic job of taking us safely from destination to destination – but as importantly to us, he was able to make fabulous recommendations for wineries/tasting facilities that were smaller and/or off the beaten path. He has a great knowledge of the Napa area wineries and matched that to our tasting interests very well. Champie arranged a wine tasting luncheon for us with a local wine farmer that was amazing and also scored appointments for us as we needed them. We would recommend his services for anyone traveling to the Napa or Sonoma area.

This is a wonderful service! I would recommend this company and plan on using it again. They have a great knowledge of the area and the recommendations were awesome. We had a great experience and great customer service.

Champie did a great job of choosing some wineries for us to visit. We were pretty specific, and his choices were spot on. He was also a lot of fun - quite the opposite to the usual stoic limo drivers. Rates were reasonable.

A. I always have loved showing people a great time.

I wanted them to save money, instead of using an expensive overpriced limousine service. Because they charge double for the food and wine tastings, they setup for their clients. We do not.

I wanted them to stay safe on our roads and out of jail.

Q. If you were advising someone who wanted to get into your profession, what would you suggest?

A. Get a second job for the winter. It is lean.

Q. What are you currently working on improving?

A. Wine Country Knowledge for all drivers, is something that must be done with all
the different wineries that there are here in the Wine Country.
