- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We typically charge an hourly rate for our services. This may be as low as $25 an hour for bookkeeping services. We also offer bookkeeping and accounting "bundles" that can save you money when you hire us to work for you on a monthly basis. We also offer our consulting services by the hour. These vary depending on the type of professional consulting we provide. We are always happy to speak with you about your requirements and provide a free quote for our services.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We like to meet our clients in their office or home for the first time, but can easily arrange a telephone or video conference if requested. We review your problem together and take a look at what your process is right now. We then agree on the services we will provide and how we will provide them.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Rae Shirer, the Managing Member of New Options Business Services, LLC has more than 30 years of experience as an accountant, tax preparer and business consultant for businesses and nonprofit organizations. Rae has written dozens of business plans, applications for tax exempt status, loan applications, grant applications and other complex business documents. Rae spent several years as the Tax Director for a major Southern California homebuilder and was a Senior Tax Manager at the global accounting firm, KPMG. New Options Business Services, LLC also connects our clients with qualified bookkeepers, accountants or consultants with direct experience based on the client's specific needs.
