FAQs

  • Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

CWDesign Solutions. Chad Williams Owner. I am presently completing the design and construction of a highly energy efficient , cost effective green remodel where we have designed radiant slab acid stained concrete floors and used advanced insulation techniques to boost the existing building envelope to over 25% of what is required by building codes. I am also currently designing the structural framing elements and the radiant slab heating system for a new energy efficient 3800 sqft residence in the Santa Cruz Mountains. I have built everything , likely dozens and dozens of times , I design and draw. I love this work and working with my clients.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Know what you want and ask for it. Hire the firm, people who listen to you and communicate back to you. It's always a relationship. Check the work history and talk to past clients for reference. Don't always go for the lowest bid go for the best "fit" .
