My experience with Fred Gamble and Advanced Flooring was extremely poor and disappointing. After speaking with Fred Gamble on the phone, I was assured by Fred himself that ,although he charges more than most (flooring Inspection services) It was a worthwhile investment due to his "expertise" and experience. Fred Did show up on time for our inspection, and I was promised a written report in 7- 10 days. 15 minutes later Fred and his guest left and assured me a quality report would soon follow. What followed was 25 days of NOTHING. No contact ( from Fred Gamble) no explanation as to why there was a delay in his promised report, nothing at all. I inquired 3 times, and each time was told a report was soon to follow. I was told that the $500 check I had written him in good faith ( which was acknowledged to be higher than the industry standard ) would be a worthwhile investment because of Fred's qualifications and experience. To his credit, Fred did not cash my check, he just NEVER did his work. No calls, no explanations, just a huge waste of my time . Anything but the professionalism he professed for charging higher fees. I WAS promised, on 3 occasions that a report was pending, however nothing ever appeared. I had to put a stop on the check and will now search elsewhere (At normal, standard rates) for something that should have been done weeks earlier (or at all for that matter). The most disappointing aspect of this entire ordeal was Fred's personal guarantee of high ethical standards and professionalism. I would strongly suggest to anyone seeking these services to look elsewhere
