Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A. When reviewing a photographer's portfolio, make sure to look not just at what they consider their best work. Also ask to see the last photo session they did.
Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?
A. A professional photographer will generally have high quality equipment, but merely owning expensive equipment does not qualify someone as a professional photographer.
Put another way: a mediocre photographer can still take mediocre photographs with exceptional equipment.
Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?
A. My work stands out from others because I'm not a mass-market, high volume photography studio like you'd find in a department store or shopping mall. I come to you, at a place of your selection, and take pictures in an environment that reflects your personality. This is especially helpful with children, as the typical photography studio is a little intimidating to kids.
