Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. Advice for customers looking to hire a provider like me would be the following:
Don't just ask about pricing.
Ask about the company:
-How long have they been in business?
-Ask for business license.
-Ask for copy of photo ID of employees that will be cleaning.
-Ask for references.
-Meet with the provider before you hire them to do the job. It's always a good idea to meet the provider in person to get more information and to get a good idea of what type of person they are. Whether they look professional and whether you get a good feeling about them. Also to set expectations for the job.

Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?

A. Cleaning is very time consuming and a dirty job. Keep that in mind when getting prices not only what needs to be cleaned but the time it will take us to clean it.

-Mix a paste of baking soda and vinegar to remove stubborn toilet bowl rings.
-Rub windows down with a cotton-swab of rubbing alcohol to remove old cleaning product residue and wash with a mixture of two tablespoons vinegar and one-quart water.
-Polish wood with three parts olive oil and one part white vinegar.
-Use multi-purpose baking soda for scouring or to remove scuff-marks from vinyl floors. Add a small square of aluminum foil, boiling water, and it makes a great silver bath!

Q. What do you like most about your job?

A. I enjoy helping others. As a mom, wife and professional I know how tough it can be to keep up with everything from taking care of the kids, cooking, laundry, cleaning and working. I love cleaning a family's home so that they have more time to spend time with each other. I've had customers tell me it's the best money they have ever spent after spending all weekend moving the last thing they wanted to do is clean the place.

Cleaning commercial properties is also a feel good job because the appearance of a place of business is very important to show potential and current clients that they have pride in their business.

Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

A. Price? We can usually give you a range over the phone, it is best to look at the property for a firm price.

Do we have your own tools? Yes

Are we licensed? Yes, we are licensed, bonded & insured.

Do you give bundle pricing? Yes if you are having us performing various services. For example if you need your carpets and home cleaned we will give you a better price.

Q. Tell us about a recent job you did that you are particularly proud of.

A. A recent job we did that I'm particularly proud of is a single mother who had just moved her son away to college decided to downsize into a smaller home. After spending the whole weekend moving all by herself she decided she had taken on too much and was too exhausted to clean her home she was moving out of and renting out. She called us and we left her empty home spotless ready for the new tenants to move in. She was so happy and said it was the best money she had ever spent! I was so happy and proud that we were able to help her out.

Q. Do you do any sort of continuing education to stay up on the latest developments in your field?

A. Yes, we are constantly attending workshops and trade shows to learn about the latest cleaning products and tools in the industry. We are members of the Bakersfield Chamber of Commerce who offers seminars on improving our business as well.

A. All of our plans are customizable to fits the customer's needs since no 2 homes or offices are alike. To get a firm price it is best for us to come out and look at your property. Over the phone we can only give you a range so that you have an idea and budget planned.
