A. Dont buy a house with a zinsco electrical panel or zinscow breakers they are a fire hazzard

A. I have 25 years of experience as a licensed electrician
I am very good at trouble shooting and can find any electrical problem.
I also re certify any fire system, and fire extinguishers.

A. what I like about my job is the thankful praise I get for helping homeowners make all there electrical work safely.
and knowing it is done by a licensed professional electrician.

A. why does my refrigerator go off when I turn on my air conditioner

Q. Do you have a favorite story from your work?

A. this lady called me that had been getting shocked while in the shower. I found a broken connection at her ground rod and a neutral at a light was connect to the water pipe not the neutral so the electricity had to find a way to get back to ground and the easiest way was through the shower

A. Electricity is dangerous because it can cause a fire

Q. How did you decide to get in your line of work?

A. a carpenter friend wanted some help bringing his tools to calif from wisc and I seen the job he was working on and the electrician said he needed help, I stayed to help and went to code class and electrical contractors license school and took the C10 test and passed

Q. Tell us about a recent job you did that you are particularly proud of.

A. it was a very hot day and the old lady who lived in a mobil home had no ac so I was called to help her and I had to change her main breaker and she was very happy to cool off.

Q. Do you do any sort of continuing education to stay up on the latest developments in your field?

A. I go to electrical conventions and keep up with the latest electrical code changes and new trade news.

Q. What are the latest developments in your field? Are there any exciting things coming in the next few years or decade that will change your line of business?

A. A lot of new jobs are opening up because of the new technology with wind and solar power that is green and free.

Q. Describe your most recent project, what it involved, how much it cost, and how long it took.

A. I am running on service calls daily with plug and lights not working adding outlets for ac.
I am changing a homeowner's fuse box to a 100 amp panel pulling permits with the city and adding new circuits to the ac and kitchen.

A. My prices are mostly by the hour and material

A. Go to school and work part time learning both
