Since 1987, we have been providing herbal medicine, acupressure massage and gentle acupuncture. Treatments are performed in private rooms by well experienced acupuncturists.

We are one of the largest Chinese herbal dispensaries in the USA. We can fill your doctor's herbal prescriptions at a fair cost. All herbs are at hand as powdered concentrates or in whole. We ship everywhere.

Q. Describe the most common types of jobs you do for your clients.

A. For acupuncture: low back pain, neck and arm pain, pain of any kind, stress, depression.

For herbs: fertility issues, digestive complaints, fatigue, stress, insomnia, depression

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?

A. In Chinese medicine everything is negotiable between doctor and patient. It would be considered immoral to refuse treatment because the patient truly cannot afford the fee.

Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?

A. Because I've been practicing for over 25 years, and practice makes perfect.

Q. What do you like most about your job?

A. Helping people get well. Having a job with freedom and responsibility.

I love the fact that Chinese medicine also allows me to practice philosophy as well as medicine. Also, that herbs and acupuncture are amazing.

Q. Do you have a favorite story from your work?

A. Several years ago a patient brought in her boyfriend, a well known player for the Oakland Raiders. They came together every week the Raiders where at home. Once he came with a reporter who did a story in a popular sports magazine. One day he came with his wife. That was the last time he came.

A. Continuing education is required for California acupuncturists.
