Hi, all! I'm Chrystal, a certified massage therapist and health educator. I have been practicing massage since 2007. I currently take clients on an out-call basis, so you can enjoy the benefits of massage from the comfort of your own home. I specialize in therapeutic massage, as well as mind/body health, and relaxation. Benefits of massage include increased circulation, increased muscle tone, less tension, increased relaxation, and an overall sense of well-being. Massage can also help alleviate chronic pain from certain conditions.
I am well-versed in both Eastern and Western modalities from the National Holistic Institute, one of the most recognized and respected massage therapy schools in the country. I have been trained in and practice Swedish, deep tissue, pregnancy, myofascial therapies, sports, aromatherapy, Thai, shiatsu, and various energy healing modalities, as well as a level II Reiki practitioner.
My sessions are tailor-made to meet each client's individual needs. Whether you require a strong deep tissue massage or a subtle form of energy work, I have the tools to help restore balance in your mind and body. Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A. When hiring a massage therapist, it is important to make sure your therapist is a trained professional, who has attended an accredited and respected massage school such as NHI, as myself. Your health and safety are my number one priority and I have the skills to keep you safe and feeling great.
Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?
A. Massage has many benefits that most people are not familiar with. To name a few, some of the benefits of massage include; increased circulation, increased muscle tone, increased relaxation, decreased muscle tension, overall sense of well being.
Q. What questions should a consumer ask to hire the right service professional?
A. A consumer should ask if their massage therapist has had formal training and from where. A knowledge of kinesiology and pathologies that are contraindicated with massage are important for client safety.
