Question and answer

Q. Describe the most common types of jobs you do for your clients.

A. We provide DJ and MC services to the event industry. The bulk of our business is within the wedding industry but we are not limited to it. We are experienced at all types of events. We also provide venue lighting for any occasion. Most of our clients will purchase both services from us but it is not required that we DJ our lighting events or light our DJ events. We leave that up to the client. We will do all that we can to ensure your event is perfect!

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. There are a lot of imitators out there. Be aware of pricing. No serious professional DJ / Emcee would ever charge less than $100.00/hr. You do get what you pay for. The signs are obvious. Ask for pictures. Does the DJ take the time to conceal all power and speaker cords? Is the set up clean and professional looking? How is the DJ's appearence? Are they dressed nice? Are they clean cut? Do they have tatoos showing? Does the audience seem engaged? How is the lighting? Ask them if they are fully insured? If so for how much?
This is YOUR day. You deserve a pro. Do not settle for an inexperienced or even an experienced DJ that is selling cheap services.
If you think you have found your DJ - call us or send an e-mail and we will be happy to consult with you and verify your pick. We would hope that you would save yourself the time and choose us but, our goal really is to ensure your 100% satisfaction even if we are not the company you hire. It's a free service that we provide and your satisfaction is priceless to us!

Q. What questions should a consumer ask to hire the right service professional?

A. I am sure you already thought of the obvious questions. There are a lot of really good DJ's out there. What to ask really depends on what you are looking for. If you are looking for a club DJ why not just hold your event at a club? If you want a low key reception with ambient music in the background why not just hold it in an elevator?
If you want a REAL event DJ.... wedding, mitzvah, birthday etc. Then the first question to ask is how many professional level events they have been a part of? Who did they intern with? Where did they learn the art and skill of live audio production? Do they own a pink noise generator? Do they even know what pink noise is? Without looking it up on Google! What is their experience with lighting and effects? If the tools and equipment to bring your dream to life do not exist, do they have the skill and know how to fabricate them? Can they calculate the safe operating limit of an electrical circuit?
It may not sound all that important but these are the types of questions that we professionals ask ourselves when hiring staff and when planning an event. It's YOUR day. Don't let it be ruined because you hired cheap and the second the DJ fires up the music it stops because he didn't account for the extra load on the circuit that the caterer needed. Ya - thats a true story. It happened to the other guy. Not us.

Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?

A. Experience.
Attention to detail.
Experience.
Critical thinking skills.
Experience.
Ability to adapt and troubleshoot when a problem arises.
Experience.
Calm under pressure.
Experience.
I think you get the point. I use to think that I was this awesome and great DJ and event producer. I now have the experience and the humilty to know not that you are only as good as your last event. With every event I learn something more that I take to the next event. We refuse to sit back and rest on our laurels. We want to be perfect every time which takes constant work. We train constantly to be more than just DJ's. We want to be problems solvers and go above and beyond serving you and your guests. For example - if a guest breaks a glass we want to be there to clean it up and assist the other hired staff to make sure that your event is as close to perfect as possible.
